In addition to his Western Horsemanship and Cow clinics,
Tim Thomas offers individual training for you and your horse, with the training tailored to meet your specific needs.
Every horse can benefit from the solid foundation that Tim can provide, but, of equal importance is the training of the rider who needs to continue the training that Tim, or another trainer, initiated with the horse. A month or two of horse training can be quickly undone by a rider who fails to establish the correct working relationship with their horse, and knows how to maintain that relationship over time, and under varying conditions. The skills that Tim can impart to you will greatly enhance the relationship between you and your horse, and will provide you with the ability to insure that you can control every situation that arises. No matter what your specific needs, give Tim a call, or send him an email, and he will work with you to design a program for you and your horse. He can be reached at the number and email address below. Tim's training facility provides a stress free and safe environment for you and your horse, and great riding trails in the Sierra foothills are close by. |
| According to one of his students, Laura Balestrieri: " I've taken several rider training classes with Tim on the trails around his training facility, each on lasting a couple of hours, and the knowledge that I've gained, and the insights into horsemanship that Tim has imparted, have greatly improved my riding skills and confidence under saddle. And, I can honestly say that Tim's quiet and confident instruction has improved my riding knowledge and the relationship that I share with my horse. It has also improved my horse's confidence in me as a rider. No longer does he hesitate or balk when asked to do something - crossing a creek, stepping over a log, etc. He simply responds to my cues and performs any task I ask of him. It is the best money and time I've spent in acquiring my horsemanship skills. " |
